We are currently seeking a Collections Document Review Supervisor in Pomona, CA!
Supervise and control all aspects of Collections Documentation Review. Supervise staff including hiring, training, evaluation, and discipline to ensure a well-qualified team and enhance operational success.Assign work to staff to achieve the assigned responsibilities and results. Conduct reviews for facility compliance in area of responsibility on a regular basis. Pursue self-directed development. Manage, control, and direct, production and quality assurance of documentation reviews conducted by staff. Ensure facility and staff compliance with policies and procedures.
- Supervise staff that review and correct electronic and manual versions of collections documentation, documenting discrepancies identified for problem investigation and performing follow up activities related to managing suspect product. 2. Work with management to identify and establish goals and objectives for staff. Show accountability and build coalitions across the organization.3. Supervise, direct and control daily operations and planning activities of the department. Serve as a resource to other department heads.4. Support assigned projects and coordinate resources to ensure successful completion of projects to achieve organizational goals and objectives. Prepare reports for appropriate management and stakeholders to demonstrate the success of the department.5. Provide input to the budget process; monitor and approve expenses in accordance with the established budget. 6. Implement and supervise processes associated with regulatory obligations, industry benchmarks, and organizational requirements to demonstrate compliance and best practices.7. Identify and develop relationships by networking with internal customers to maximize support and accomplish organizational goals outlined in the strategic plan.8. Communicate with key stakeholders to proactively ensure internal customers are aware of departmental impacts.9. Assume responsibility for compliance with all applicable cGMPs, ARCBS directives, state and federal regulations, AABB requirements, regional policies and procedures, and other applicable standards within the area of control.10. Preferred LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) per state regulations
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience is preferred.
Minimum three years related experience including one year supervisory experience is required.
Knowledge of cGMP, FDA, and standards required. Knowledge of federal, state, OSHA, AABB requirements and American Red Cross Blood Services directives desirable.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills necessary.
Ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of people from within and outside the organization is required.
