Responsible for the maintenance and reconciliation of the Automated Inventory and Purchase Requisition System as well as Inventory Control. This consists of planning, monitoring, and follow up of open orders to ensure optimal inventory levels. Assists in the development and maintenance of departmental data bases. Input packing slips to ensure timeliness of invoice processing. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.

  • Responsibilities:
  1. May maintain inventory control for materials to ensure optimal inventory levels and timely reception of supplies and materials. Reports inventory status and needs to management.2. Performs data entry of material requisitions and packing slips on the automated Purchasing and Inventory Systems for the region/division. 3. Assists the Shared Services Center with invoice/shipping problem resolution of purchasing orders. Interacts with regional staff regarding changes on purchase orders, returned goods and invoicing problems.4. Tracks lot numbers for regulated materials and reports status to appropriate staff. Maintains record retention system for regulated and on-regulated procurement documents. Sets up new files and maintains existing filing systems in the receiving area for regulated and non-regulated documents.5. Resolves routing problems and forwards problems of a more complex nature to management.

Qualifications: High School or equivalent is required. Minimum 3 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. Prior experience in materials management and data entry preferred. Requires aptitude to work with figures. Effective verbal and written communications skills and the ability to interface with all levels of staff required. Prior experience with personal computers, to include Excel, Access, Word or Oracle. Ability to work on a team.
